The future of clean energy and hydroponics
Maverick Energy is excited about the future of clean energy and hydroponics. We’re looking to partner with an agri-business operator and use their access to wholesale priced natural gas to significantly reduce operating costs and increase yields in the Wabash River Valley of Indiana and Illinois.
Maverick will provide the expertise and assets to meet the electrical power, heat, and CO2 needs of the greenhouse developer under a joint operating agreement. The Wabash Valley is known for its ample water resources, strong migrant workforce that supports traditional farming, and a supportive economic development and regulatory environment.
With demonstrated success, there is further upside from project expansion and possibility of cost reduction through concept replication, the integration of CHP efficiencies with other nearby light industries, and/or the use of CO2 in nearby enhanced oil recovery.
